Miss Delores Reinhart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rinehart, Owen (Clark
Co., Wis.), was escorted by her father down the aisle of Immanuel Lutheran
Church in Marshfield on Saturday, February 28, 1970, where she became the bride
of Geln Vern Turner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Turner, Route 1, Owen. Rev.
Theodore E. Krueger officiated at the 11 a.m. ceremony.
The bride was attired in a white velveteen street length dress trimmed with
ostrich feathers at the wrists and hem, and wore a velvet ribbon bow headpiece
with a short veil. She carried a small white Bible and a single red long stemmed
rose.
Serving as the maid of honor was Miss Rebecca Picket of Marshfield. She was seen
in a gold tweed street length dress and she carried one white long stemmed rose.
Terry Morrow of Colby, a friend of the groom, was best man.
A dinner reception was held at the Patio Restaurant in Marshfield.
The bride is a 1967 graduate of Owen-Withee High School and is employed at St.
Joseph's Hospital. The groom attended school here until enlisting in the Navy in
1966. He was discharged January 5th and is now employed by Land O' Lakes in
Spencer.
The newlyweds are making their home at 1109 N. St. Joseph Ave. in Marshfield.
On April 4th a shower was held at the Owen Legion Hall for relatives. Guests
came from Wind Lake, Portage, Rib Lake, Medford, Eau Claire, Dorchester and
Stetsonville.
