Schafer, Albert A. (14 AUG 1890 – 25 APR 1970)
Albert A. Schafer, 79, of Route 4, Oshkosh, died at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at Mercy
Medical Center, Oshkosh.
He was born in Woodville on August 14, 1890. His first wife preceded him in
death. On April 19, 1950 he was married to the former Lorinda Behringer in
Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.). He had been a resident of Oshkosh since 1965.
Surviving are his widow; one son, Eugene, Duluth, Minn.; four daughters, Mrs.
Woodrow Wall, Withee' Mrs. Arnold Camps, Caspen, Mich.; Mrs. Alice Smith, Eau
Claire, and Mrs. Clinton Schultz, Manitowoc; three stepsons, George Behringer,
Winnecone; Jacob Behringer, Oshkosh, and Donal Behringer, Dallas, Texas; one
brother, Louis, and one sister, Lucille, both of Tacoma, Wash.; 19
grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and 9 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 pa.m. Tuesday, April 28th at the Mueller Funeral
Home, Winneconne, with the Rev. G. Willard Gray officiating. Burial was in
Oakwood Cemetery, Hushey at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
