Petkovsek, Mr./Mrs. Tony (45th – 29 October 1974)

The 45th wedding anniversary was observed last Saturday by Mr. and Mrs. Tony Petkovsek of Willard. Tony Petkovsek and Dorothy Anderson were married October 26, 1929, at Chicago, Il.

After their marriage they resided in Chicago, Il., for about ten months, later moving on a farm near Willard in 1930, where they farmed until 1964 and later they moved to the Town of Seif where they purchased Tony’s tavern 10 years ago and are still residing there. Their children gave them the party which started last Saturday afternoon, Sunday and they all came back on Monday to say farewell before leaving for their homes. Some of the presents given by their children was a mother’s ring for her and a watch for him.

They have three daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Mary Ann) Wayer, Mrs. Marvin (Patricia) Whitney, Mrs. Bill (Dolores) Lee, all of Waukegan, Il., and six sons: Arthur, Greenwood; Tony, Jr., Los Angeles, Ca., James, Greenwood, Edward, Marshfield, William, Waukegan, Robert of Neillsville. Also 15 grandchildren.

Those from away who attended the party of the children were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wayer, Kenneth, Norman, Donna, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Whitney, Mark, Jeffrey and Donald, Mr. and Mrs. William Lee, Mike, Timothy all from Waukegan, Il.; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Petkovsek, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Petkovsek and Doulas of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Petkovsek, Jr., Los Angeles, Ca.; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Petkovsek, Scottie and Greg, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Petkovsek and Tammie and Kelly, Waukegan, Il.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Petkovsek, Neillsville.
