Wednesday of last week Edward Lehnen drove a group of Owen young people to
Wisconsin dells, where they were interviewed and assigned various positions for
the forthcoming summer season at the Dells. Among them were his daughter, Donna,
Cheryl Zimmerman, Karla Montag, Greg Smith, Greg Bredlau and Brian Mahoney.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Burhop, Alan, Mrs. Clara Roohr, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Prock
and Kim of Eau Claire spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Switzky
in Madison.
Guests at the Allen Gajewsky home Sunday in honor of their daughter Lori's
confirmation were: Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nordstrom and Timmy Tomlinson, Cashton,
Wis., Miss geri Nordstrom, Strum, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Melby and family, Tomah,
Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Meyer and family, Altoona, Mr. and Mrs. Doll and Jason, Mr.
and Mrs. Chuck Jefson and Christine Stoddard, Misses Cindy Mohr, Bonnie Karaba,
Mary Lehnen, Janet Hansen and Susan Mahoney, all of Owen.
Gerald Pribbernow, 4, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Pribbernow, was admitted April
12 into St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, for surgery of tonsils and adenoids.
Mrs. Pribbernow made the complete stay with her son, and they returned home
April 15, 1970.
Mrs. Galen Scharer returned Thursday from St. Paul, where she spent a week
visiting her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Tyler Turner.
