Jorgensen, David T. “Tall Timber” (9 DEC 1945 - 6 FEB 2018)
David T. “Tall Timber” Jorgensen, 72 of Gilman, died suddenly from natural
causes.
He was born on December 9, 1945 in Oconto Falls the son of the late Herbert and
Doris (Witter) Jorgensen. Dave’s family lived in Oconto Falls, Ithaca and then
Milwaukee where he graduated High School at South Division High. After High
School he entered the Army and then returned to the Milwaukee area. Dave married
Sharon Prasnicki on February 8, 1969.
Dave worked as a Forman at Cooper Power Company. He was a member of the Gilman
American Legion. Dave enjoyed doing cross word puzzles and games on his tablet
and spending time with family and friends at the Cabin and Sittin Bull-Polley.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon of Gilman, two daughters, Michelle (Paul)
Lindl of Hartford and Denise (Tom) Prieve of El Paso, TX, 9 grandchildren,
Mikala, Kendra, Ashtyn, Keegan and Braylen Lindl and Andrew, Porter, Karina and
Kirnan Prieve, his siblings, Neil (Margaret) Jorgensen of Richland Center, Barb
(Dan Sheppard) Heberling of Port Charlotte, FL and Lars
Jorgensen of Minneiska, MN. his dear sister in law, Beverly Janicki of Gilman
and nephew, Anthony Janicki and his best friend “Bella.”
Dave is preceded in death by his parents and a brother in law, Ron Janicki.
No public services will be held.
