Lach, Mary Anne (2 MAY 1943 - 14 FEB 2018)

Mary Anne Lach, Age 74, of Marshfield, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center.

Her Memorial Service will be held at 7PM on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer. Rev. Samuel Martin will officiate. Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer from 5PM until the time of service.

Mary Anne was born on May 2, 1943 in Catawba the daughter of Walter and Mary (Hrouda) Lach. She was united in marriage to Robert Markee on June 18, 1966, they later divorced. Mary Anne attended college, earning a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Upon graduation she moved to Marshfield where she worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital as an LPN until her retirement.

She was an amazing story teller and enjoyed entertaining her family and friends. Mary Anne also enjoyed cooking, gardening, knitting and watching and listening to football and baseball games, especially the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and bragging about her grandchildren.

Mary Anne will be greatly missed by her two sons Paul (Caren) Markee of Eau Claire and Dean (Cheri) Markee of Darien; her two grandchildren Bryan Markee of Waco, TX and Elizabeth Markee of Eau Claire; her two step grandchildren Mackenzie Douglas of Madison and Jordan Douglas of Manitowoc; her brother-in-law Ted Harvey of Catawba and nephew Vincent Harvey of Catawba; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Mary Lach and her sister Lucille Harvey.

Her arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home–Spencer.
