Ervin, Elaine T. (Gasiorowski) (8 JUN 1936 - 19 FEB 2018)
Elaine T. Ervin, 81, of Kennedy Street, Lot #107, Rib Lake, passed away on
Monday, February 19, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital where she had been a
patient for the past day.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 26 at Hemer
Funeral Home, Rib Lake Chapel, with Rev. David Clements officiating. Interment
will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake. Pallbearers will be family members.
Visitation will take place at the Hemer Funeral Home, Rib Lake Chapel from 9 AM
until the time of services at 10 AM on Monday, February 26.
Elaine was born on June 8, 1936 at Chicago, to Stanley and Ann Gasiorowski. She
attended Chicago area elementary schools, and was a graduate of Madonna High
School, Chicago, IL.
She was married in Chicago, IL to Jack D. Ervin, and he preceded her in death
June 12, 2001.
Elaine clerked at an A & P Grocery Store in Chicago for a period of time. For
most of her life she worked as a housewife & mother while residing in the
Chicago area. She moved to Rib Lake in 2003. She enjoyed reading, cooking and
baking.
She is survived by her children Edward Ervin of Chicago, Bernadine Labelle of
Chicago, Anna Ervin of Chicago, John (Rosanne) Ervin of Rib Lake, Daniel
(Christina) Ervin of Chicago; 19 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Elaine is predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Ann Gasiorowski; son Gerald
Ervin in 1981; siblings Richard & Edward Gasiorowski, Ann Goseweiler, and Louise
Gross.
