Weisenberger, Aloysius J. (25 MAY 1916 - 16 FEB 2018)
Aloysius J. Weisenberger, 101, of Stratford, passed away on Friday, February 16,
2018 at his residence.
His funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at
Ebenezer United Church of Christ – Stratford with Pastor Doris Ruben
officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends are
invited to gather on Wednesday at the church from 5PM until 7PM and again on
Thursday at the church from 10AM until the time of services.
The honor of pallbearers belongs to Jamie Weisenberger, Joey Weisenberger, Jorie
Skrzypchak, Jaren Skrzypchak, Kale Weisenberger and Dawson Weisenberger.
Aloysius was born May 25, 1916 in the Town of Cassel to Joseph and Frances
(Lange) Weisenberger. The family included four brothers and two sisters; Edwin,
Arnold, Ray, Gilbert, Lillian and Lucille and his half siblings: Marjorie,
Nancy, Ruth, Susan, Charlotte and Randy. Aloysius attended Johnson Country
School. He was united in marriage to Carmen Koehler on July 2, 1936. Sadly, she
passed away on March 31, 1997.
His employment included WPA, Connor Lumber Company, driving milk truck, hauling
logs and granite, working as a mechanic for Klemme Sales in Stratford, and as a
manager of the Stratford Co-op sales and service. In retirement he assisted his
son and area farmers and enjoyed babysitting his great-grandchildren.
Aloysius is survived by his children: James (Joan) Weisenberger of Stratford and
Janice (Douglas) Morris of El Paso, TX; his siblings: Marjorie, Ruth and Randy;
his grandchildren: David (Tina), Richard, Robert, Jody (Jeff), Jamie (Carrie)
and Joey and his great-grandchildren: Kelly (Lem), Kimberly, Jorie, Jaren, Macy,
Delanie, Kale, Jaylee, Dawson, Justin, Savannah, Madison, and Grayson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Frances and his siblings:
Edwin, Arnold, Ray, Gilbert, Lillian, Lucille, Nancy, and Susan.
His arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.
