Heideman, Sharon Diane (20 JUN 1970)
At a two o'clock double ring ceremony on Saturday, June 20, 1970, at Holy Rosary
Catholic Church in Owen, Miss Sharon Diane Heideman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Walter Heideman, route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Robert
James List, son of Mr. and Mrs. James List, Owen (Clark Co.). The Reverend
Hubert Crubel conducted the service, and Miss Rhonda Mattson served as organist.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride approached the altar wearing a floor
length A-line gown of silk organza and taffeta with long organza sleeves. Venice
lace appliques accented the bodice and sleeves, and Venice lace bordered the
high neckline and detachable chapel length train. Her elbow length veil of silk
illusion was secured to a Camelot headpiece of lace and pearls. For her bouquet
she chose a cluster of white roses and lavender carnations, fastened with a
white ribbon.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Allan Missling, Owen, and
serving as bridesmaids were Miss Patsy Harness, Walworth, and Miss Patsy List,
Owen. They wore identical floor length gowns of floral print chiffon over
taffeta, which featured high crawl collars, long lady bishop sleeves and
semi-regular waist lines, complemented by a lavender satin bow. To complete
their ensembles they wore headpieces of lavender satin ribbon and carried
baskets of white and lavender pompoms and greenery.
Tim Bulgrin, Owen, attended the groom as best man, while Bill Conzemius,
Wisconsin Rapids, and Pat Kafka, Withee, served as groomsmen.
The guests were ushered itno the church by Wayne Heideman, brother of the bride,
and Jerry Pieper, cousin of the groom.
A buffet supper was served at 4:30 p.m. in the dining hall at St. John's
Lutheran Church, Withee, and was followed by an 8 o'clock reception at the
Meadowview County Club, Owen.
Both the bride and groom are 1966 graduates of Owen-Withee High School and are
May 1970 graduates of Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire. The new Mr. and
Mrs. List will reside temporarily in Owen, where he will be employed for the
summer months at Foremost Industries.
