Chase, John (10 OCT 1887 – 29 JUN 1970)

At 1:15 p.m. yesterday funeral services were conducted here at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home for John Chase, 83, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), who passed away on Monday. Later his remains were taken to Marie-Louise Chapel at Christie, where another service was held at two o'clock. Rev. Hilding Peterson, pastor of the United Church of Christ, Owen, officiated.

During the services Sheila Koplitz served as organist, with Arlyn Mills rendering the vocal selection.

Serving as pallbearers were George Schaefer, Peter Boone, Ernest Shaw, Ed Silkey, William Hughes, and Frank Murphy.

Burial was made in the Town of Weston Cemetery (Christie).

John Chase was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Chse, being born October 10, 1887 in the Town of Weston, Clark County.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Henry (Lillian) Koplitz, Owen. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
