Father Hubert Crubel officiated at the 11 o'clock Nuptial Mass at Holy Rosary
Church when Miss Terri JoAnn Stock became the bride of Jon P. Eslinger on
Saturday, June 27, 1970.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herb Stock, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.),
and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hoard Eslinger of Stanley.
The bride was seen in a white A-line empire styled white sculptured lace over
peau de soie gown. Her veil was shoulder length and was secured by a lace and
pearl headpiece. Her bridal bouquet consisted of white and blue carnations.
Miss Connie Stock was maid of honor and bridesmaid was Jacque Stock, both sister
of the bride. They were attired in dresses of blue embroidered with yellow and
pink flowers fashioned by their mother, as the bridal gown. Their veils were
secured by a pearl headpiece. They carried bouquets of white and blue
carnations.
Attending the groom as best man was Lyle Gilbertson, Owen, and Mark Eslinger,
the groom's brother, served as groomsman. They wore white dinner jackets with
black trousers.
A dinner was served at the Stanley Auditorium, and in the evening at the home of
the bride's parents.
Geusts came from Gary, Indiana, Grafton, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and the
surrounding area.
After a wedding trip to Hayward, the newlyweds are making their home in Stanley.
The bride is a 1969 graduate of Owen-Withee High School. The groom is a 1968
graduate of the Stanley High School, and is employed at Presto in Eau Claire.
