Mr. and Mrs. Pete Madsen recently returned home from Waupun, where they have
been since Thursday of last week enjoying a visit with their grandchildren while
their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Richardson, were on a trip.
Wednesday of last week dr. Lois Smithies of Madison returned to her home there
after being here since the previous Sunday visiting the home of her brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kitze and family.
Rev. Arnold Woodring returned to the city Thursday of last week from Lincoln,
Nebraska. He had left Monday, driving his wife and family there so that she
might remain and spend about 10 days with her mother, who is quite ill.
Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Uno Phillips left, driving to Chicago, where they
spent the weekend with their son Dewey and family, and also attended graduation
exercises of their granddaughter.
Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Potocnik and Mr. and Mrs. Paul
Fricke were their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Burt Potocnik of Minneapolis.
Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lehnen drove to St. Paul, where they enjoyed a
visit at the home of his brother Herbie and family. Enroute home on Sunday they
returned by way of Turtle Lake, where they picked up their daughter Mary, who
had spent the week vacationing with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kowalk at their cottage.
