Jacobi, Ida (28 MAR 1883 – 06 JUL 1970)
Mrs. Henry Jacobi, 87, Abbotsford, died at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church,
Abbotsford, with the Rev. F.H. Sprengler, pastor, officiating. Interment will
follow in the town of Holton Cemetery.
Visitations may be made at the Polnaszek Fuenral Home from Wednesday noon until
Thursday noon, and then at the church.
The former Ida Leonhardt was born March 28, 1883 in the town of Holton (Marathon
Co., Wis.), where she received her education. Her marriage to Henry Jacobi took
place at Dorchester September 22, 1908. They celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary in 1958.
The couple farmed most of their married life in the town of Holton. Since
November 22 she had been a resident of the Havenet Nursing Home at Owen.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Norma) Utke,
Curtiss; Miss Ellen Jacobi, Owen, Mrs. Doris Tipton, Cucamonga, California; two
sons, Ervin and Chester Jacobi, both of rural Abbotsford; seven grandchildren;
four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Jacobi and Mrs. Martha Goke,
both of Abbotsford.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
