Breed, Michael Anthony (13 SEP 1945 - 15 APR 2002)
Michael Anthony Breed, 56, Weyerhaeuser, died Monday, April 15, 2002, at Luther
Hospital in Eau Claire.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 at Nathaniel
Lutheran Church in Bruce, with Rev. Lawrence Sturgis officiating. Interment will
take place at Twin Lakes Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 19 at Olson Funeral
Home in Bloomer, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Michael Breed, 56, of Weyerhaeuser, passed away Monday, April 15, 2002, at
Luther Hospital in Eau Claire after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Sept 13, 1945, in Chicago, Ill, the son of Clark and Laura (Gillett)
Breed. He married Linda Scmidtke on Oct. 8, 1966, in Chetek. He was a graduate
of Chetek High School and also of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He
was a social studies teacher and coach in the Weyerhaeuser School District for
23 years. Over the years he coached football, girls basketball and track. Before
moving back to the Weyerhaeuser area, he taught in Medford, Wis., where he
coached football and wrestling, and he taught in Pecatonica, Wis., where he
coached wrestling, track and football. He loved teaching, and he loved the kids.
His other enjoyments were spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and
reading.
He is survived by his wife Linda of Weyerhauser; three sons: Michael of Cameron,
Charles (Jenny) of Gillett, WI, and Clint (Shari) of Black River Falls; mother
Laura of Chetek; three brothers: Peter (Marge) Breed of New Auburn, Bill (Linda)
Breed of Chetek and Bob Breed of Chetek; one sister: Robin (Randy) Bohl of
Chetek; three grandchildren: Nicole, Maya and Duncan Breed.
He was preceded in death by his father; infant brother: Charles; and stepfather:
Ben Lannon.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 11 am at Nathaniel
