Schiro, Anne C. (Copeland) Fleming (16 JUL 1932 - 27 FEB 2018)
Anne C. (Fleming) Schiro, Age 85, of Dorchester, passed away on Tuesday,
February 27, 2018, at Dycora Transitional Living in Abbotsford.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at
Peace United Church Christ of Dorchester. The Rev. Doris Ruben will officiate.
Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are
welcome from 9:30 until the time of service Saturday at the church.
Anne was born on July 16, 1932, the daughter of William and Jessie (Ireland)
Copeland in Stetsonville. She was united in marriage to Gerald Fleming on April
11, 1953, in Dorchester. He preceded her in death on September 14, 1979. Anne
was united in marriage to Thomas Schiro on March 12, 1983, in Marshfield. He
preceded her in death on September 6, 1998.
Anne worked a furniture factory in Dorchester where she met Gerald. Most her
life she was a homemaker and care for her four children. She enjoyed music,
animals, and visiting with family and friends.
Anne is survived by four children: Daniel (Linda) Fleming of Henderson, NV, Rick
(Linda) Fleming of Caledonia, IL, Kevin (Betty) Fleming of Athens and Tammy
(Gary) Grambort of Fountain, CO; three grandchildren: Alissa, Jason and Joshua;
one step-grandson, Shawn; three great-grandchildren: Trevor, Devon and Ella; and
three step-great-grandchildren: Blake, Vanessa and Shaila. She is further
survived by four siblings: Larry (Marge), Ray (Karen), Billy (Dorothy), and
Doris (Dave); and one brother-in-law: Wayne Kayhart.
She was preceded her in death by her parents; her two husbands, Gerald and
Thomas and 13 siblings: Laverne (Velta), Milton, Glen (Shirley), Marvin
(Gloria), Leon (MaryAnn), Jimmy (Alta), Joyce (Don), Margaret (Dave), Ruthy
(Don), Mildred, Nora (Ed), Catherine, and Meryl.
The family requests memorials to Clark County Humane Society.
