Neillsville Ministerial Association (Joint Thanksgiving Service – 26 November 1974)

Congregations of five Neillsville churches will join in a community Thanksgiving Eve service Wednesday, November 27, at 8 p.m. at the united Church of Christ.

Participating church bodies are St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the United Methodist Church, the Assembly of God, Calvary Lutheran Church and the United Church of Christ. Pastors of the churches will take part in the service.

The offering to be received that evening has been designated to go for aid to Bangladesh, to assist in relieving the suffering in that famine and drought-stricken nation. Funds will be handled through the CARE organization, not through a church organization.

Special music will be provided by a combined choir directed by Mrs. Robert Peters. A practice session will be held Tuesday, November 26, at 8 p.m. at the United Church.

The Neillsville Ministerial Association have planned the Thanksgiving Eve service.
