Hall, Richard M. Sr. (7 JUL 1947 - 3 MAR 2018)
Richard M. Hall, Sr., 70, of Jump River, passed away at Marshfield Medical
Center on Saturday, March 3, 2018 surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 7, 1947 to Leonard and Marie Hall in Dallas, OR. He
graduated from Coos Bay High School and went on to earn his Associates Degree
from Lane Community College.
He married Neva Jo and they were later divorced. He then married Marietta and
they were later divorced. He then met Vicki, the love of his life and “wife” in
his heart.
Richard served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 74. He then served in the Army
National Guard Reserves for several years.
In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, gold panning and rock pounding,
working on cars, fishing, telling stories of his adventures, and spending time
with his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his wife Vicki; children, Kimberly Hall of Sun City, AZ,
Wendy (Chris Sislo) Hall of Medford, and Richard (Tammy Povolo) Hall, Jr. of
Kingsford, MI; grandchildren, Tyler (Chelsea Zach) Dake, Steven (Shaylee)
Spencer (Hall), Trevor (Brianna Dodd) Dake, Shay Hall, Cooper Hall, and Maiah
Hall; great-grandchildren, Freya Hall, Eli Dake and one on the way; brother,
Carl (Linda) Hall, Jr.; sister, Starr (Mike) Boyle. Richard is further survived
by nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will take place at
a later date.
