Werner, Terrance L. “Terry” (14 SEP 1955 - 1 MAR 2018)
Terrance L. “Terry” Werner, 62 of Impala Drive, Medford (City), passed away on
Thursday, March 1, 2018, at his residence in the City of Medford.
Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 7 at OLPH Catholic
Church, Whittlesey, with Father Phil Juza officiating. Interment of his cremated
remains will take place at OLPH Catholic Cemetery, Whittlesey.
Visitation will take place at OLPH Catholic Church, Whittlesey from 4-7 PM on
Tuesday, March 6 where there will be a 7 PM Catholic Rosary Service held that
evening; visitation will also be from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM
on Wednesday.
Terry was born on September 14, 1955, at Medford, to Robert “Bob” & Rosemary
“Rosie” Werner.
He attended Medford area elementary schools and was a 1973 graduate of Medford
Sr. High School; He received an Associate Degree from the Medford Branch Campus
of UW-Stevens Point.
On January 19, 1980, at OLPH Catholic Church, Whittlesey, he married Susan M. (Brandner).
She survives.
After his education, he worked as a laborer for James Peterson & Sons
Construction for 20 years. Then he worked for a period of time at Weather Shield
Mfg. in Medford. He then worked on his own as a handy man until his recent
retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting, antiquing, his
Model A, woodworking spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a
member of OLPH Catholic Church, Whittlesey and was a church volunteer for many
things.
Terry is survived by his parents, spouse, Susan M. Werner of Medford; children
Terrence Werner Jr. of Medford, Kate (Dennis) Flood of Rice Lake, Amy (Jason)
Smola of Medford, Gregory (Randi) Werner of Medford, Kristin (Loren) Schultze of
Baraboo, WI; nine grandchildren Tucyr, Mylo, Jaspyr & Olly Smola, Weston,
Elaina, Cecelia & Bennett Flood & Christian Werner; siblings Susan (Wayne)
Malchow of Whittlesey, Thomas Werner of Austin, Texas & Sarah Werner of Athens;
Brothers/Sister-in-law: David Brandner of Medford, Tim Brandner of Medford &
Wendy (Scott) LaBrec of Marshfield.
He is preceded in death by his sisters-in-law: Cindy Lekies & Sandy Brandner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to the
family for a future designation.
