Bogacz, Agnes A. (19 JUN 1925 – 27 FEB 2018)

Agnes A. Bogacz, age 92, of Chicago, IL, passed away, at Care Age of Brookfield, in Brookfield, WI, on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Funeral services were held at 12 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp, WI. Rev. Janusz Kowalski officiated and burial followed in New St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery. Agnes' nephews served as pallbearers. Visitation was held at the church, on Monday, from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Agnes Angeline Mroz was born on June 19, 1925, in Thorp, WI, to Felix and Ramie (Zuzelski) Mroz. She was raised on the family farm and received her education in the Thorp area. After completing her schooling, Agnes moved to Chicago and began working at Motorola in Quality Control. She was united in marriage to Alex J. Bogacz on July 3,1948, at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. They lived in Chicago their entire married life. After retiring, they bought a home in Florida and spent the winters there. Her husband, Alex, died on July 17, 2012. She continued to reside in Chicago until moving to Care Age of Brookfield in April 2017.

She had many interests, but especially loved Polka music, dancing, traveling, and gardening.

Agnes is survived by two sisters: Theresa Javore of Menomonee Falls, WI, Alice (Edwin) Bishop of Franklin, WI; one brother, Clarence Mroz of Thorp, WI; one sister in-law, Helen Mroz of Altoona, WI; nieces, nephews, othe relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alex; two sisters: Rose Zuber and Mary Bertram; two brothers: Chester and Johnny Mroz; three brothers-in-law: Stanley Zuber, Albert Bertram and Ralph Javore; and two sisters-in-law: Margaret Mroz and Alice Mroz.
