Mr. and Mrs. John Blunck and their guests Mrs. Laura Peterson of Milwaukee, Mr.
Roy Hull of Ft. Lauderdale Fla., Mrs. Rose Leland and Mrs. John Jalling, met
relatives from Altoona, Stanley, Thorp and Wausau at Chapman Park on Friday and
enjoyed a picnic and family get-together.
Miss Debbie Wenzel returned home Friday from Winnetka, Ill., where she has been
employed the past three months.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Meier of Menomonee Falls arrived Saturday to visit their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Meier and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hawks. On Sunday,
they, with their children, Lori, Scott, Jason, who have been vacationing here
the past week, left for a vacation in northern Wisconsin.
Mrs. Elsie Blunck, Mrs. Russell Haire and Mr. William Blunck of Minneapolis
attended the funeral for their brother-in-law and uncle on Tuesday. On Monday of
this week Mrs. Elsie Blunck will leave for Minneapolis ona tour of the
Scandinavian countries for three weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. William Bender of Chicago spent the weekend visiting the home of
her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Baum and other relatives.
Mrs. Edith Isaacson and her daughter, Dr. Pauline Isaacson, who teaches at the
University at Stevens Point, visited briefly with Mrs. Helen Segerstrom enroute
to Spring Valley.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rabska spent the weekend in Kirkland, Ill. visiting the home
of her sister, and on Saturday afternoon they attended the wedding of Mrs.
Rabska's nephew.
