Hardy, Lester G. (18 DEC 1927 – AUG 1970)

Word was received here last week of the death of Lester G. hardy, 42, a former Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) resident. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hardy, Withee, whose final rites were conducted on Tuesday, August 18, 1970. Billman's Park Chapel, St. Louis Park, Minn., was in charge of the service, which was conducted from Sacred Heart Chapel.

Lester Hardy was born December 18, 1927 at Tomahawk and was a 1945 graduate of Withee High School. At the time of his death he was an engineer employed by IBM in Minneapolis.

His death is mourned by his parents, his wife Merna, and a daughter, Toni Hardy, St. Louis Park, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Eleanore DeMoss, Withee; and three brothers, Keith Hardy, Ruth, Nevada; Emery Hardy, Cottage Grove, Minn.; and Martin Hardy of Mount Iron, Minn.
