A lovely bridal shower was held on Saturday afternoon at the Eleventh Frames Dining Room in honor of the approaching marriage of Joan Szczesniak to Richard Goessl. Hostesses were Mary Ann Peterson, Heidi Serm, Pat Minning of Minneapolis, Chris Rohland, Linda Jalling and Virginia Phillips. The bride to be received many beautiful gifts and a delicious lunch was served by the hostesses.

Mr. and Mrs. Arne Dehne, Mr. and Mrs. George Sorensen, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Poppe, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rabska enjoyed a camping trip to Holcombe over the weekend.

Attending the football game at Green Bay between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Bruchert, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Albert, James Albert, Stanley Halida, Jerome LePage, Dr. Arnes, and Gilbert Cardinal and brother.

Mrs. Karen Nielsen accompanied Mrs. Julian Freitag home from Libertyville, Ill., where Mrs. Nielsen has been visiting her son Jorgan and family the past week.
