Wednesday of last week Mr. and Mrs. John Stock drove their daughter Kathleen to Madison, where she has accepted a position as staff nurse at University Hospital. She will be working in a unit in the area of medicine. She wishes to specialize in cancer research.

Rita Baumgartner, student at the University of Minnesota, spent the weekend visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Baumgartner.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry V. Anderson were dinner guests on Sunday at the Harry Webber home at Stanley.

Friday night supper guests at the Henry Anderson home were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Webber of Stanley, who attended the football game that evening.

Enjoying the Green Bay Packers play Sunday at Green Bay were Mr. and Mrs. Celand Melbinger, Dr. and Mrs. Jerry Melbinger, Allan Burhop and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Prock.

Mary Gummerson, accompanied by a classmate from Eau Claire, visited over the weekend at the James Gummerson home.

Mrs. Paul Fricke received a check up at the Marshfield Clinic on Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. James Robertson visited at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Robertson, last week and continued on to Georgetown, where his now employment is located.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Malinowski visited at the John Sarafin home on Sunday night.

Mary Jensen was a patient at the Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley a few days last week.
