With U.S. Combat Air Forces, Vietnam – U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Lonnie G. Navarre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward R. (Fastiger??), Rt. 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), is on duty at Tay Hoa AB, Vietnam.

Airman Navarre is a pavement maintenance specialist assigned to the 31st Combat Support Group, a unit of the Pacific Air Forces, headquarters for air operations in Southeast Asia, the Far East and the Pacific area.

Before his arrival in Vietnam, he served at Ellington AFB, Texas.

The airman is a 1969 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, Owen, Wis.
