Pisors, Levi Daniel (16 APR 1992 - 31 MAR 2003)

Levi Daniel Pisors, 10, Medford, died Monday, March 31, 2003, at the Memorial Health Center emergency room.

Funeral services are Friday, April 4 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Medford, with Rev. Irv Case officiating. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

Pallbearers are Aaron and Jesse Pisors, Ken Zittlow and Joel Feucht.

Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford and Friday at the church, beginning at 9 a.m.

Emilie Mantik (22 Oct 1915 – 24 Nov 2005)

Emilie Mantik, 90, formerly of Wausau, died Thursday, November 24, 2005, at Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Medford.

She was born October 22, 1915, in Mosinee, daughter of the late Otto and Ida (Shidell) Paulson. On June 4, 1938 she married Fred Mantik in Wausau. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1991.

The couple had a dairy farm in the Abbotsford area for over 30 years. Besides helping on the farm, she also enjoyed gardening, crocheting and sewing, decorating and making crafts of all kinds. After the Mantiks moved to Wausau, she took a part-time cooking job at Wausau Insurance. She also opened "Granny's Snoop Coop," a craft shop in the basement of her home.

Survivors include her five children: Jerry (Carol) Mantik, Abbotsford; Nancy (Bruce) Armstrong, Madison; Gloria (Eugene) Setterman, Wausau; Ruby (Don) Peissig, Calif.; and Sally (Mark) Arndt, Medford; 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Glen Mantik; three sisters: LuCinda Paulson, Janet Tritten, and Eunice Price; and four brothers: Howard, Arthur, Herbert and Mark Paulson.

The funeral services were held November 28 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Wausau. The Rev. Roger Davis presided. Entombment was in the Garden of Eternal Rest at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
