Reit, Bonetta “Bonnie” J. (9 DEC 1969 - 5 MAR 2018)

Bonetta “Bonnie” J. Reit, 84 of Stanley died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Oakbrook Nursing Home-Thorp.

She was born on November 29, 1933 in Stanley to the late Harm and Lucille (Flora) Reit. She lived on the family dairy farm south of Stanley and graduated from Stanley High in 1951.

Bonnie started working for the Stanley IGA in 1954 and worked there the next 49 years until January of 2003. Her work was her life and she loved her IGA family and the Frank and Teddy Burzynski families. Bonnie was also a member of the Church of the Brethren and was strongly Pro-Life.

She is survived by her siblings, Glen (Jeanette) Reit of Arcadia, Larry Reit of Eau Claire and Dennis (Karen) Reit and Roxan (Dwight) Isenberger both of Stanley and was Aunt Bonnie to 22 nieces and nephews. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Gary and William
“Bill”, SR and nephews, William, JR and Kevin Reit.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley with Randy Vandeloo officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 AM Thursday until time of service.
