Hill, Mrs. Carl (10 OCT 1970)
Mrs. Carl Hill and Douglas Braithwait were united in marriage Saturday, October
10, 1970, at 2 p.m. at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Owen.
Pastor Arnold Woodring, a former pastor, performed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Bush, daughter and son-in-law of the bride, attended the
couple. A reception following the ceremony was held in the church parlors.
Mrs. A. Woodring was the organist and Sally Clark and Denise Worden sang
“Because” and “A Wedding Prayer.”
Attending the wedding were the children of the couple, among who was Nancy Hill
from St. Paul Bible College, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Other out of town guests
were Mr. and Mrs. Thorvold Stepen, Edgerton; Mrs. Ella Di Maggio, Mr. and Mrs.
Karl Luoma, sisters and brothers of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. Herman George and
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Neuns, friends from De Kalb, Ill., and many
relatives and friends from the vicinity.
Mr. and Mrs. Braithwait are residing in the village of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
