Friday Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thorson, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Christophersen, and
Natalie Scherf of Withee returned home from a two week vacation enjoyed at Miss
Scherf’s home in Florida.
A limit of geese was taken last weekend by a local hunting party that did their
shooting in the farmed Horicon Marsh. In the party were Eddie Wendt, Chuck
Edgar, Bob Bredlau and son Greg, and Ray Graham and son Kenneth.
Mrs. Jim Pickett of Sumter, S.C. arrive here Saturday and is enjoying the week
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Krarup and brother Harold and family.
Anna Sorenson spent the weekend of the 17th in Glenwood City and attended the
wedding of her niece.
Dinner guests at the Henry Anderson home on Sunday, the 18th were Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Webber of Stanley. Last Sunday the Anderson’s enjoyed the day with the
Webber’s in Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Missling and daughter of Antigo spent the weekend at the Vic
Decker home. Also home for the weekend was their daughter, Kathy, a freshman
student at WSU, River Falls.
Mrs. Duane Rittenhouse and Mrs. Henry Anderson attended the Library Workshop at
Thorp recently in connection with the Wisconsin Valley Library Association.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fricke returned home Saturday from a week’s hunting trip to
Wyoming.
Last weekend Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pribbernow and Mrs. Evelyn Hayt of Milwaukee
visited with the ladies sister, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scidmore, in Curtiss.
