Miller, Kathleen R. (Kelly) (18 JUL 1929 - 10 MAR 2018)

Kathleen R. (Kelly) Miller, 76 passed away on March 10, 2018 at Aspirus Hospital Wausau.

Her funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Whittlesey at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 17, 2018, with Father Phil Juza officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery, Westboro.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 9:00 AM at OLPH Catholic Church until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Kathleen was born on May 24, 194, in Medford, to Frank and Pauline Kelly.

She is a graduate of Westboro HS, and returned to school later in life to receive her ADN from SW Technical College Fennimore WI, to become a certified RN in 1991.

Kathleen was married to Charles R. Miller in 1960, and later divorced.

She was a homemaker and mother, resided and raised children for a long time in Basswood WI before returning to the Westboro area. Kathleen was a long time employee of Hope Hospice in Medford. She loved to travel visiting Ireland, London and Paris and she made numerous trips to canoe in the Boundary Waters with her niece Cindy Ludwig and her family. She loved her trips to the Yak in the Montana Rockies to visit her brother Dan.

Hobbies included gardening, quilting, embroidery, baking, break making, raising sheep and chickens for years. She was proud of her Irish ancestry and took an interest in Irish and Celtic culture. She loved camping, hiking, canoeing anything that got here out in a rustic area. She was also a member of the Whittlesey Quilters who make quilts for charity. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Whittlesey.

She is survived by her mother, Pauline Kelly; children, Frank (Bette) Miller, Mike (Janet) Miller, Troy Miller, Racheal (David) Lamp, Matthew (Theresa) Miller, Patricia (Rocky) Juedes, and Patrick (Brittany) Miller; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; siblings Patricia Vessely, Daniel Kelly and Jeanene Kelly.

Kathleen is predeceased by her father, Frank Kelly.

Pallbearers are Patrick Miller, Mathew Miller, David Rindt, Jack Miller and Levi Ulrich.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Kathleens name may be given to the Whittlesey Quilters.

Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with arrangements.
