Dukart, Anna M. (27 OCT 1917 – 16 NOV 1970)
Mrs. Anna Marie Dukart, 53, of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 5:20 p.m. Monday,
November 16, 1970 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield, where she had been a
patient since the previous Wednesday. She had been in ill health the past two
years.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday , November 20 at St. Louis Catholic
Church in Dorchester, with the Rev. Gerald F. Schuh, pastor of the parish,
officiating. Burial was made in Dorchester, Memorial Cemetery.
The former Anna Kolar, who was born October 27, 1917 in Dickinson, N.D., where
she received her education. She was married June 8, 1942 in Dickinson to Peter
Dukart, who preceded her in death October 5, 1966. The couple farmed in the
Dickinson area until 1962, when they moved to the Town of Hoard (Clark Co.,
Wis.). They operated a farm here until 1969, when she moved into the city of
Owen.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Florence) Hushka of Dickinson,
N.D.; Mrs. Tom (Shirley) Ballerstein, Dorchester; Mrs. David (Rosemary)
Leichtman, Spencer; two sons, Vernon and Francis, both of Owen; four
grandchildren; four brothers, Joe Kolar, Owen; Peter Kolar, Woodburn, Oregon;
Frank Kolar, Missoula, Montana, and Anton Kolar, Taylor, N.D.; two sisters, Mrs.
Anton (Mary) Splichal and Mrs. Joseph J. (Barbara) Ficek, both of Dickinson,
N.D.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.
