Moore, Ronald Lee (12 NOV 1940 - 9 MAR 2018)
Ronald Lee Moore, 77, of Stillwater, Minn., passed away surrounded by his
loving, heartbroken family on Friday, March 9, 2018. Ron was born on Nov. 12,
1940 during the Armistice Day Storm in Ladysmith. He graduated from Bruce High
School in 1959.
He was a great father, teacher and husband who loved life and spent his days
caring for his children, grandchildren and his beloved home in Stillwater.
Ron kept chickens and bees, gathered eggs and grew raspberries and beautiful
flowers in his gardens. He loved to be on the lake, golfing, or enjoying his
grandchildren and family. Ron was a 4-year bile duct cancer survivor using
alternative methods; but a stent infection took his life.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Gwen; his sons, Theodore (Christine) and
Nathaniel (Keira); his daughter, Dianna and his adored grandchildren, Elijah,
Ryelin, Cassandra, and 3-year-old, Zarek (with whom he felt blessed to survive
cancer and spend cherished time); He is also survived by his brothers, Stanley
Jr. (Jan), Art and Tom (Patricia); his sister, Annette (Vern) Dahlstrom and many
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Ellen Moore.
Special thanks to Dr. Fei Xiao, Dr. Kevin Connors and Dr. Mark Rawson and Lynn.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 at Bradshaw
Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, Minn. Visitation
