Bentson, Edward Manuel (30 DEC 1919 - 4 OCT 2003)
Edward Manuel Bentson, 83, Town of Little Black, died Saturday, October 4, 2003,
at Aspirus-Wausau Hospital.
Funeral services are Thursday, October 9, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church in Medford, with Rev. John Melke officiating. Burial will be in Medford
Evergreen Cemetery II.
Pallbearers are grandsons Tony Shilt and Arik Tischendorf, and sons-in-law James
Shilt and Russell Tischendorf. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Thursday at the
church.
Edward was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and is the son of Manuel & Anna (Zinke)
Bentson. He was married to Laverne H. Bentson. He also enlisted in the United
States Army during WW 2.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.
