Johnson, Douglas James Sr. (10 OCT 1928 - 29 OCT 2003)
Douglas James Johnson Sr., 75, Hamilton, Mont. died Wednesday, October 29, 2003,
while elk hunting.
Funeral services were Wednesday, November 5, at the Daly-Leach Chapel in
Hamilton, with Rev. John Capen of the Victor Church of the Nazarene officiating.
Military honors were presented by the Hamilton American Legion and the USMC
League, Bitterroot Detachment.
Private family urn placement will take place at a later date. Douglas is
interred at Victor Cemetery, Ravalli County, Montana.
Douglas was born in Sparta, Wisconsin, to Otis & Fanny Flaville (Griffin)
Johnson. He was married to Gwendolyn Sylvia (Taggart) Johnson. He served in the
US Navy during WW 2 and Korea.
