Kauer, Peter Bernard “Pete” (20 AUG 1907 - 4 OCT 2003)

Peter Bernard “Pete” Kauer, 96, Town of Rib Lake, died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at his home under hospice care.

Funeral services were Tuesday, October 7, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Revs. Ron Kowalski, and Jack Regh, and Deacons Paul Ochodnicky and Michael Cullen. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.

Pallbearers were Neil, Marijane, James Jr., Matthew, Jack and, Peter C. Kauer; Stephen Schlosser; Mike Froehlich; Karl Klemann; and Dick Olson.

Pete is the son of Anton & Mary (Kosch) Kauer. He married Catherine Madeline (Bonde), on January 21, 1941.

Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home of Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
