Nelson, Gilbert (3 December 1894 – 30 November 1974)
Funeral services were held December 4 from the Georgas Funeral Home for Gilbert
Nelson, 19, a resident of the Bryan Home who died November 30. The Rev. Ronald
Nordin of Calvary Lutheran Church officiated, and burial followed in the Town of
Mentor Cemetery at Humbird.
Pallbearers for Mr. Nelson were Hugh Terrell, Dennis Hoffman, Lyle Larson, Erwin
Nelson, Bernard Larson and Ed Pflieger.
Relatives and friends from Humbird, Fairchild, Augusta, Rice Lake and
neighboring localities were among those who attended the services.
