Moldenhauer, Alex (17 June 1908 – 5 December 1974)
Alex Moldenhauer, 66, Greenwood, died early Thursday morning, December 5, in
Neillsville.
Mr. Moldenhauer was born June 17, 1908, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Moldenhauer in
Marion. He received his education in Marion and as a young man came to
Greenwood, where he spent most of his life. He was employed in the Greenwood
area as a cheesemaker.
On March 11, 1937 he was married to Doniella Raik. She died December 30, 1948.
He had resided in Inkster, Mi., for the last seven years. He returned to
Greenwood in June and was admitted to Memorial Home in Neillsville two weeks
ago.
He is survived by a brother, Mark Moldenhauer of Inkster, Mi., and two sisters.
Mrs. Robert (Ida) Evans of Inkster, Mi., and Mrs. Walter (Louise) Weix of
Shawano.
Visitations were held at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood Friday afternoon and
evening. The body was taken to Marion for services and burial on Saturday. The
Rev. W. Schlachtenhaufen officiated. Burial was made in Bethlehem Lutheran
Cemetery.
