Tuesday afternoon Barby Barager arrived at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
J.R. Barager to enjoy the Thanksgiving break in her studies at the University of
Wisconsin at Madison. Wednesday evening they welcomed Jean Barager home from
Green Bay, where she teaches, to enjoy the holidays with them.
Last Thursday Pete Madsen drove his wife to Wautoma, where they were met by
their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Richardson of Waupun, and Mrs.
Madsen accompanied them to their home for a visit. Yesterday Mr. Madsen joined
them for Thanksgiving and the remainder of the week.
Friday evening Paul Fricke and Bob Mattson of Owen left for Yellow Lake where
they are deer hunting. They were accompanied by Floyd Klemetson of Curtiss and
Arne Harris and son of Chippewa Falls.
Jack Barager, freshman student at NDSU, Fargo, has been home since Saturday
night enjoying the quarter break in studies, as well as deer hunting. He will
return to school Sunday.
Reports from Wilson’s hunting camp at Highbriar is that three deer have been
killed. Boby Buss, Dennis Wilson and Emil Niemi Jr. are reported as being the
successful hunters. Others in the group are Clarence Kitze and son Phil, Micky,
