LeGault, Dr. George (1888? – 27 NOV 1970)
A funeral Mass and burial were held Monday morning, November 30, 1970 at Lake
Worth, Florida for Dr. George LeGault, former Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and
surgeon. Interment was made in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Lake Worth, Florida.
Dr. LeGault was 82 years of age and passed away at his home on the morning of
November 27, 1970.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Worth; was a retired
physician and surgeon, and a graduate of Marquette University; was Captain of
the Medical Corps., U.S. Army, World War I; was a practicing physician for 52
years in Wisconsin and Meeteetse, Wyoming, where he headed the hospital. For
many years he was owner and operator of a private hospital in Owen (present day
Havenet Nursing Home); member of the AMA, member of PHIRO Sigma Fraternity;
Elks, active in the Red Cross fund raising drive for many years, and a member of
the American Mineral Society.
Survivors include his wife, Irene, Lake Worth; a son, Alexander H. LeGault, Lake
Worth; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth LeGault, Lake Worth; grandson Nicol David
LeGault, Lake worth; three sisters, Mrs. Marcia Palms, Mrs. Mary Buker and Mrs.
Esther Etta, all of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).
