Nevala, Mr./Mrs. Ray (Silver – 16 JAN 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nevala were honored on their 25th wedding anniversary with a surprise party held Saturday evening, January 16, 1971 at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin (Nancy) Graski.

Decorations and flowers were in colors and type of their wedding day, and a large three-tiered wedding cake, baked by Mrs. Nic Jarocki, centered the table.

Hosts for the occasion were their three children, Lynn of Eau Claire, Nancy of Withee, and Susan at home.

Approximately 40 guests, including the maid of honor of 25 years ago, Mrs. Art Popp of Marshfield, enjoyed the event.

Out of town guests were from Curtiss, Marshfield, Spencer, Owen and Thorp, as well as many local friends.

Music was furnished for the evening by the Diamondaires.

The couple was the recipient of many beautiful cards and gifts.
