Former Edgar resident Frances Ella Callies, 92, Abbotsford, died Sunday, January 1, 2006, at House of the Dove in Marshfield.

A memorial service was held Wednesday, January 4, at St. John's Lutheran Church, High Steeple, in the Town of Wein, with Reverend Matthew Christians officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.

Maurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Frances is the daughter of Martin & Marie (Bobbolz) Jobalske. She was married to Herbert August Callies.
