Roche, Charles “Charlie” Ransom (23 DEC 1933 - 29 JAN 2006)

Former Rib Lake resident Charles “Charlie” Ransom Roche, 72, Medford, died Sunday, January 29, 2006, at Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, Feb. 2 at noon at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rib Lake, with Rev. Roger Sloan officiating. Interment, with full military honors conducted by Lehman-Clendenning American Legion Post No. 274 of Rib Lake will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.

Pallbearers will be Donald Radtke, Charles Radtke, Kevin Radtke, Anthony Reinhardt, Gerald Reinhardt Jr., Thomas Quednow, Wyatt Krug and Gene Semrau.

Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.

Charlie is the son of William L. & Lilia L. (Haas). He served in the US Air Force and the US Army during the Korean era.
