Miss Marilyn Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Miller of route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), has been chosen as candidate to represent the Senior Class of the Owen-Withee High School in the DAR Good Citizens' Contest. This contest is sponsored by the Eau Claire Chapter of the Wisconsin Society of DAR.

Each candidate si chosen on her qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. This honor enables Marilyn to compete in the State and National DAR Contest. The first three place in these contests receive valuable awards. These three awards will be presented at the State Conference of the Wisconsin Society to be held in Milwaukee March 17, 1971.

Marilyn and her mother, together, with the other area DAR Representatives, have been invited to attend the luncheon given by the DAR Chapter of Eau Claire on March 7.
