Zasoba, Clara (24 JAN 1887 – 14 FEB 1971)

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee, for Mrs. Clara Zasoba, 84, of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Sunday morning of an apparent heart attack.

The Rev. Arthur Hillert, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Howard and Herman Rabska, Earl and Vernon Baehr, and Norman and Norbert Baehr.

The former Clara Martha Baehr was born January 24, 1887 in Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.). Shew as married January 24, 1906, in Withee, to John Zasoba, who preceded her in death March 6, 1967. The couple had operated a shoe repair service in Withee for 62 years, and observed their 60th wedding anniversary in 1966.

Survivors include two sons, Eldon Zasoba, Omaha, Nebraska, and Clinton Zasoba, Franklin, Wisconsin; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers, Harry and George Baehr, both of route 1, Withee, and a sister, Mrs. Richard (Emma) Rabska, Withee.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Zasoba was preceded in death by a son.
