Adams, Mabel (3 DEC 1883 – 15 FEB 1971)

At 1:30 this afternoon (Thursday) funeral services will be conducted from the Alliance Church, Owen, for Mrs. Mabel Adams. The Rev. Lester Kringle, parish pastor, will officiated, with burial to be made in the cemetery in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).

Serving as pallbearers will be Wm. McNitt, Tony Ciszewski, Gene Adams, C.E. Beck, Harold Frey and Malcolm Capes.

The deceased passed away Monday at Memorial Hospital in Medford, where shew as being treated for complications of old age. She was 87 years of age.

The former Mabel Kilpatrick was born December 3, 1883 in Illinois, and was married to Theodore Adams on June 24, 1906, in Luverne, Minnesota. The couple farmed in the Withee (Clark Co., Wis) area. Mr. Adams died in April 1940.

During the past three years Mrs. Adams had been making her home in Medford with her daughter, Mrs. George (Julia) Macik.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a son, Joseph, route 1, Withee, and two grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, two daughters preceded her in death.
