Siggelkow, Hazel (17 DEC 1908 – 10 FEB 1971)

Rev. Lester Kringle, pastor of the Alliance Church, Owen, officiated at the final rites conducted from Mrs. Wesley Siggelkow, on Saturday, February 13, 1971. Services were held at the church, with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Levi Dickinson, Art Karow, Stanley Bartosiak, Gene Adams, Bob Warden and Harold Frey.

Mrs. Siggelkow, 62, died at her home in rural Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) at 5 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 1971, of an apparent heart attack.

The former Hazel Thompson was born December 17, 1908 in Kentucky, and came to this area with her parents at an early age and received her education in the town of Maplehurst and the Owen High School.

She was married March 18, 1933 in the Town of Maplehurst, to Charles Wesley Siggelkow, who survives her. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Hixon, north of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).

Mrs. Siggelkow was a member of the Missionary Alliance Church, Owen, and a Homemaker Club member.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Emil (Beatrice) Presti, Milwaukee; four sons, Charles and Donald, both of Milwaukee; John of Owen, and Robert of Athens; eight grandchildren, and three brothers, Herb and Orville Thompson, Owen, and Arlie Thompson, Medford.
