Tomich, Paul J. (30 JUN 1909 – 20 FEB 1971)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in
Owen for Paul J. Tomich of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died at his home
Saturday after a lingering illness. He was 61 years of age.
The Rev. George Becker, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in Riverside
Cemetery.
Mr. Tomich was born June 30, 1909, in Missouri, and received his education
there. He was employed as a maintenance man for a gas company in Chicago, where
he was married to Ellen Mogusen, April 10, 1940.
He served in the U.S. Army for four years following his marriage, and the couple
then moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), where he had been employed as a plumber.
Survivors include his wife; three brothers, Nick and Phil Tomich, Northfield,
Ill.; and Albert Tomich, Evanston, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. John (Bessie)
Kauzlerich, Wichita, Kansas, and Mrs. Frank (Victoria) Vidis, Rathbun, Iowa.
H was preceded in death by a brother.
