Oscar Lipprandt, 90, of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died Wednesday, March 10, 1971
at the Clark County Hospital, Owen.
Funeral services were held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, March 13 at St.
Paul's Lutheran Church in the town of Green Grove (Clark Co.), with the Rev.
Arthur Raasch, pastor, officiating. Interment was made in St. Paul's Lutheran
Cemetery.
Six grandsons served as pallbearers.
Mr. Lipprandt was born December 15, 1880 in Germany and came to the United
States with his parents at the age of seven years. The family settled in the
townof Green Grove and farmed there.
He was married October 26, 1925 in the townof Green Grove to Ida Grube, who
preceded him in death in 1946. The couple farmed in the town of Green Grove for
many years prior to retirement.
Mr. Lipprandt was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Cheese Association
Board, and had served on the school board and as chairman for the town of Green
Grove for several years.
Survivors include a step-son, Victor Grube, Owen; 42 grandchildren, and 8
great-grandchildren.
