Will, Jerome (20 AUG 1914 – 13 MAR 1971)
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 15, 1971 at the First
Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam for a former Clark County resident, Jerome W.
Will, 56, of route 1, Beaver Dam, who died early Saturday at the Lutheran
Hospital in Beaver Dam, following a short illness.
The Rev. Russell Miller, pastor of the parish, officiated, and burial was made
at Loyal.
Mr. Will was born August 20, 1914 in Colby, and was married May 24, 1940 to
Ethel Sterr of Loyal. The couple made their home in the Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.)
area until 12 years ago, when they moved to Beaver Dam, where they had since
made their home. He had been employed as a salesman for the Agrico Chemical
Company.
For several years, in the late 1930's, he resided in Owen and was employed by
his brother, Foster Will.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother in infancy.
He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, the B.P.O.E. Elks Club
of Beaver Dam, and the Old Hickory Country Club of Beaver Dam.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Alan (Rebecca) Ladd, Wonewoc;
Mrs. Russell (Peggy) Reynolds, Taycheedah, and Josephine Will, Madison; two
grandchildren; a brother, Foster Will, Owen, and a sister, Mrs. Dolores
Fitzgibbons, Skokie, Ill.
