Nearly 1,300 students at Stevens Point State University won honor during the
first semester for scholastic achievement, Dr. Gordon Haferbecker, vice
president for academic affairs, has announced.
Among them are Katherine Swiontek, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.); and Carol Oryszczyn,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Oryszczyn, route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.)
