Olsen, Andrew P. (11 JUN 1886 – 17 MAY 1971)

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock today at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, for Andrew P. Olsen, 84, of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Monday at his home.

Rev. H.W. Luetkehoelter will be in charge of the service, with burial to be made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Karl Jensen, Sig. Sorensen, Chris Beck, Fred Beck, Alfred Knudsen. Carrying the floral offerings will be Ruth Nielsen, Lillian Knudsen, Mrs. Karl Jensen and Mrs. Sig. Sorensen.

Mr. Olsen was born June 11, 1886 in Fyn, Denmark, and received his education in Denmark and Grand View College in Iowa. He worked on the railroad and did farm work in Minnesota before he married.

He was married December 23, 1915 in Mankato, Minnesota to Laura Marie Nielsen, who survives. After their marriage they came to Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), where they have farmed and resided since their retirement, taking place in 1959.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Alfred Olsen, Cutbank, Montana; three daughters, Mrs. Harry (Ellen) Bower, Wood Dale, Ill.; Mrs. Harvey (Ida) Hamilton, Horn Lake, Miss.; and Mrs. Loren (Lillian) Miller, Owen; twelve grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.
